Tuition
Enrollment for the academic year 2026-2027 covers 32 weeks of study. Tuition is divided into 10 equal monthly payments, regardless of the number of lessons in a given month. Invoices are issued on the 15th of the prior month, and due on the 1st of the lesson month. A late fee of $25 will be deducted for late payments. Tuition will be prorated for students starting mid-semester. Payments may be made in cash, or by check, Venmo, or Zelle. Missed or chronically late payments may result in the termination of lessons.

Makeup and Cancellation Policy
Tuition secures a weekly time slot exclusively for the student. Therefore, missed or cancelled lessons are not refundable. Consistent lessons are important for student success, and families are expected to prioritize weekly lesson times. However, students may make-up 4 missed lessons per year, free of charge, provided 6-hour notice is given prior to the start of the scheduled lesson. After 4 makeups, further absences are forfeited without makeup or refund.
Practice Expectations and Parents
Assignment length and appropriate practice times will be discussed during the trial lessons and are updated as the student progresses. Parents are responsible for providing a well-tuned piano or keyboard and a quiet space to practice. Parents of young students are encouraged to observe lessons in order to help with any homework assignments, and are responsible for the completion of assignments. Parents and students may communicate freely via text or email at any time during the week with questions about practicing or homework assignments.
Home Studio
Please remember that the studio is part of a private residence. Be mindful of neighbors. Only use designated lesson spaces. Children 6 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the lesson. Children may not leave the studio unattended unless authorized by a parent or guardian. Adult students or guardians are responsible for any damages to studio property.
